A dermatologist working at the front edge of her specialty
Dr. Lohia trained in medicine at Manipal University, and specialised in dermatology, venereology and leprosy from KLE Belgaum. She then went further than most dermatologists of her generation, adding formal training in aesthetic medicine, laser technology and regenerative therapies across three countries.
Her clinical practice began at Belgaum while doing her DDVL and later she headed Pimple Saudagar, Pune Clinic of Clear Skin and Hair MD for four years before moving to Delhi NCR as a consultant at Artemis Hospital and Supreme Hospital. She rightly believes in a patient-first approach: diagnose first, treat second, and only to the extent desirable and suitable to the patient. A great deal of aesthetic dermatology is delivered the other way round, and it is the most common reason treatment fails to hold.
Her practice today spans the full range of the specialty. Medical dermatology — acne, pigmentation, vitiligo — sits alongside aesthetic dermatology (botox, fillers, threads, acne scars, pigmentation) and a substantial hair restoration and transplant practice. Her deep understanding of laser physics along with skin chemistry places her apart from all the others in achieving unbelievable results with lasers. What connects them is regenerative medicine, and that is a genuine departure rather than a description of the same treatments in newer language.
Aesthetic medicine should never be about changing who you are. It should be about bringing out the healthiest, most confident version of you.
